Before

Before As 'Murphey' would have it, we had the chance to make Casa Wright exactly when we really needed to replace the roof. So, when the eventual spring thaw came (or one of the number of times it has come this year) we had to go up and shovel off the snow or we were going to have an interior flood. This gave us an opportunity to start some 'before' pictures. Remember the above chimney. Downtown from east Riverdale. As mentioned, the roof wasn't the prettiest sight. Then on the INSIDE where other work will occur... Oh, a gramophone. Imagine that! First we obviously had to make ready... It hasn't looked like that since the morning of the day we moved in!
