Work for the first week was to tear off the roof and reinforce it to take the new weight. As Murphey would have it (again) we had quite the rain storm Tuesday and Wednesday. Knowing it was coming on Monday, the boys did little as no tarping would have protected the exposed house enough. Thursday was the only real day they could work as Friday was Good Friday. The snow and cold didn't deter them.
I forgot the name of the four-footed helper but will get it again as soon as I remember to ask.
After pics. They closed (and insulated) the skylight in the second floor bathroom. Too bad the room will be darker now--however, it's better not to have the two bathrooms connected this way!
More temporary reinforcement for the ceiling--carefully done so the door still works!
