The Annual Thanksgiving

Every year we go for a picnic on the Sunday of Thanksgiving Weekend (Canadian) and take family pictures. We have been going to the Forks of the Credit River since before the children came along (photo at bottom with adult drink is definitely from that period--OK, the one beside it is Riverdale Farm, so shoot me). This page links some of the photos we have taken. Note how the weather changes from year-to-year--some years it is summer while in others it sure feels like winter! (One year it was snowing--but it doesn't show up well in the photo.) Unfortunately our picnic spot has been under pressure from population increase. Where once we could park right there and use a picnic table, now the Ontario Provincial Police forbid any non-resident traffic down that road. (Then again, 2006 we finally didn't make it at all!)
